Clotty — Terms of Use

These terms are the agreement between you and Vasbyte for the Clotty app. By creating an account or using Clotty, you accept them.

1. Who may use Clotty

You must be at least 13 years old to have an account. If you are under 18, you may use Clotty only with a parent or guardian's permission.

2. Your account

Keep your sign-in details to yourself. What happens on your account is your responsibility.
Give us information that is accurate, and keep it current.
One account per person.
Tell us at info@vasbyte.co.za if you think someone else has got into your account.

3. Subscriptions and billing

Clotty is free to download and most of it is free to use. Some features are paid:

Girl Dinner AI — AI analysis of a meal photo. Logging food by hand stays free.
Astrology+ — extended readings and compatibility. The daily horoscope stays free.
Clotty Gold — a bundle that includes both.

Each is offered as an auto-renewing subscription, monthly or yearly. The exact price and length are shown on the purchase screen in the app before you buy, in your own currency.

Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account when you confirm the purchase.
A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before it ends.
Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
Manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies, not by us.
If we change a price, we will tell you first, and the new price only applies from your next renewal.

4. Not medical advice

Clotty is a tracking and wellness app. It is not a medical device and it does not give medical advice. Cycle predictions are estimates based on what you log; do not use them as contraception or as a fertility method. Calorie and macro estimates from a photo are approximations, not a clinical measurement, and are not a treatment plan. Speak to a doctor, dietitian or other qualified professional about your health.

5. Astrology is for fun

Horoscopes, charts, readings and compatibility in Clotty are entertainment. They are not advice of any kind, and should not be used to make medical, financial, legal or life decisions.

6. AI-generated content

Girl Dinner AI and Astrology+ produce results using artificial intelligence. AI gets things wrong. Check anything that matters before relying on it.

7. Your content

Your photos, posts and notes remain yours. By posting in Clotty you give us permission to store and display that content in the app to the people you shared it with, so the app can work. You can delete your content at any time.

You confirm that you have the right to post what you post, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.

8. How to behave

Clotty is a community. Do not:

Harass, bully, threaten or impersonate anyone
Post hateful, violent or sexually explicit content
Post someone else's private information, or photos of them without their permission
Spam, advertise, or scrape data from the app
Try to break, overload or reverse engineer the app or our servers
Use Clotty for anything unlawful

You can report content or block a member from inside the app. We may remove content or suspend an account that breaks these rules.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep Clotty running, but we do not promise it will always be available or error-free. We may add, change or remove features. If we make a significant change to these terms we will tell you in the app or by email.

10. Ending your use

You can stop using Clotty and ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing info@vasbyte.co.za. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. If your account closes, any active subscription still runs to the end of the period you paid for, under Apple's or Google's rules.

11. Our liability

Clotty is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, Vasbyte is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data or profit, arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction.
